Clean, affordable power when demand is highest

Solar + battery power for peak demand times

Aerial view of a data center with rows of cloud-like server units, solar panels on the right, and large industrial buildings surrounded by open land and hills in the background.

Faster power, with zero emissions. Our on-site solar with battery storage systems allow data centers to cut their grid power demand during 4 to 8-hour periods of peak grid strain.

A line graph showing the effect of a solar-battery peaker on grid constraints over a 24-hour period. The graph has three lines: blue for data center load, green for grid power available, and yellow dashed for solar-battery. The x-axis represents the hour of the day, and the y-axis shows the power in megawatts. The grid power dips to zero around 18-19 hours, while the solar-battery and data center load lines fluctuate accordingly.

Carbon savings

90% clean power.

Allow data centers to self-provide power during hours of grid strain. This means electric utilities can offer power to data centers immediately without waiting for grid upgrades or burdening existing rate-payers with cost increases to pay for new infrastructure. This reduces time-to-power from 5+ years down to 12 – 24 months.

Gas backup to clean grid power

Large industrial facility with multiple buildings, ventilation units, and an array of solar panels on the adjacent land, surrounded by rural landscape.

For facilities that need reliable electricity amidst unpredictable grid constraints, our gas generators serve as an on-site backup to renewable energy provided by the grid. Similar to our solar and battery systems, this enables an immediate bridge to the grid while giving grid operators the ultimate in flexibility to integrate renewables and new load.

A line graph titled 'Gas Backup to Solar-Wind Grid Power' shows data for 24 hours. It has three lines: blue for Data Center Load, green for Wind + Solar via Grid, and gray for Gas. Most of the green line peaks from 9 to 17 hours and drops sharply after 17 hours, while the gray line rises after 17 hours, with the blue line remaining relatively stable, decreasing slightly after 17 hours.

DISPATCHABLE CLEAN power

Natural gas with carbon capture

Medium-Voltage UPS as a Service (UPSaaS)

Aerial view of a large solar energy facility with numerous solar panels, containerized battery storage units, and infrastructure, set in a rural landscape with hills and fields in the background.

Data center power demands can swing wildly in a matter of seconds, as shown at the chart to the left. This volatility can wreak havoc on the grid and threaten the electricity reliability that we all depend on. To protect against this, CleanAI specifies the performance of battery energy storage systems (BESS) from the world's leading OEMs and finances complete, certified Medium-Voltage UPS solutions that provide a crucial safety layer for data centers and grid or microgrid integration.

Line graph titled 'AI Workload Ramp Rate Mitigation With Energy Storage' showing normalized power draw over time in seconds. Blue line represents original power draw, green line shows updated power draw, and gray area indicates energy storage discharge.
